Relays are very popular in the actuator and automations projects.  They are small in size and allow for various control options.  DPDT (double pole double throw) relay is an electromagnetic device that is used to separate two circuits electrically and attached/connect them magnetically. Some of the actuator control scenarios would require the use of relay.  Please refer to our wiring diagrams to find out what control setups would require the use of relays. Each relay comes with a relay socket to make wiring of the relay much simpler.
